I’ve been thinking a lot about what it actually means to surrender something to God.
Because I feel like I’ve been able to give Him the big thing. Surgery. The fear. The unknown. All of it.
But then I catch myself stressing over the house, the mess, our routine, not sleeping, feeling behind… and honestly, sometimes even getting irritated with my husband over little things because I’m overwhelmed and looking for someone to blame.
And I’m realizing… I can’t say I’m trusting God with everything while still trying to control all the little pieces myself. šŸ˜…
Proverbs 3:5-6 says, ā€œTrust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.ā€
ALL your heart.
That’s the part I’m working on.
Not just surrendering the things I can’t control, but giving Him the everyday stuff too. The messy house, the bad days, the emotions, my marriage, my expectations, all of it.
I’m still struggling with this. But I think that’s the point. I’m learning.
One day, one mess, one prayer at a time. šŸ¤

Well… we moved. šŸ˜‚šŸ”
Somehow between moving, renovations, appointments, surgery prep, and just life, I forgot to actually tell you guys. So here we are!
We’re officially settling into our new home, and I cannot wait to bring you along for all the projects, chaos, and little moments that come with making a house ours.

Our first ultrasound for baby #3! šŸ¤
This appointment was such a special milestone, and seeing our little one for the first time made everything feel so much more real.
At the same time, we’re in a really full season of life as we prepare for our son’s upcoming heart surgery while growing our family. It’s a mix of excitement, gratitude, and a lot of emotions, and I want to share this journey honestly.
Thanks for following along as we navigate pregnancy, motherhood, life as a medical family, and all the moments in between. I’m so glad you’re here. šŸ’›

24 hours. That’s all it took.
One day we were at a cardiology appointment making plans for Stephen’s upcoming surgery. The next, we were in the ER after a scary turn.
This season has reminded me how quickly life can change when your child has a complex heart condition. It has also reminded me that being present with my family will always come before posting online.
Thank you to everyone who’s been praying for Stephen and checking in on us. Your kindness means more than you know. ā¤ļø
We’re taking it one day at a time, and we’ll keep sharing this journey as we’re able.

The RV isn’t about running away from life. It’s about creating stability while we build the life we’re working toward. šŸ¤
Between medical appointments, future hospital stays, family travel, and our dream of one day owning land and raising cattle, we’re learning that sometimes living smaller can open the door to bigger dreams.
We’re still in the planning stage, but it’s exciting to imagine what this next chapter could look like. 🌿🚐
What’s one dream you’re working toward right now?

Just a little peek into what our week looks like right now. Between therapies, appointments, church, friendships, and making memories with our boys, our calendar stays pretty full. šŸ¤
Some days feel chaotic, some days feel slow, but I’m learning to be thankful for the ordinary rhythms that make up this season.
What’s one thing on your calendar this week that you’re looking forward to?
