We had a wonderful time at Kaleidoscope 2026, an immersive art experience and fundraiser presented by Premier Arts Collective and hosted by Jared Emerson.

From live art and music to an incredible collection of local artists, the evening was a beautiful reminder of the ways creativity, community, and faith can bring us one step closer to hope.

We were grateful to be there and to experience such a meaningful night in the Upstate! ✨

According to the American Cancer Society:
“About 1 in 8 women will get invasive breast cancer in their lifetime.”

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month — a good time to remember that knowing your risk and keeping up with recommended preventive care can make a difference.

If you have a Marketplace health plan, you may have more breast cancer prevention benefits available to you than you realize. In fact, HealthCare.gov specifically lists these three services as covered preventive care:

🎀 Understand your genetic risk
If you're at higher risk for breast cancer, BRCA genetic risk assessment and counseling is a covered preventive service under Marketplace plans. This can help you understand whether genetic testing may be appropriate and what your results could mean for your health.

🎀 Get regular mammograms
Screening mammograms are a covered preventive service for women age 40 and older, every 1–2 years. When you meet the requirements for preventive coverage and use an in-network provider, you generally won't have to pay a copay or coinsurance — even if you haven't met your deductible.

🎀 Explore prevention options
If you're at higher risk for breast cancer, counseling about medications that may help reduce your risk is also a covered preventive service. Talk with your healthcare provider to learn whether these options may be appropriate for you.

The good news? If you have a Marketplace health plan, these aren't just benefits you might have — they're among the preventive services HealthCare.gov specifically requires Marketplace plans to cover. Generally, eligible preventive services are covered at no cost when you use an in-network provider.
As always, it's a good idea to talk with your healthcare provider about what screenings and preventive care are appropriate for you.

Although we celebrate Coffee Day EVERY DAY, today gives us an official excuse to enjoy an extra cup (or maybe just the cup we were already planning to have). 😉
Whether you like it black, with cream and sugar, iced, or turned into something that barely resembles coffee anymore, there’s no wrong way to enjoy your favorite brew.

So take a few minutes today to slow down, enjoy your coffee, and maybe catch up with a coworker, friend, or someone you haven’t talked to in a while.

Because sometimes, taking care of yourself is as simple as enjoying the little things. ❤

Sept 25th is World Pharmacists Day 💊

Pharmacists play an important role in helping us understand the medications we take — and if you have Medicare, September is also a good month to start thinking about your prescription coverage.

During Medicare’s "Annual Election Period" (AEP), October 15–December 7, you have the opportunity to review the Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Plans available for the upcoming year. It’s a good idea to check how your medications are covered each year, since formularies, tiers, copays, and other prescription coverage details can change from one year to the next. Even if you plan to keep the same Medicare plan, it’s still a good idea to review your coverage and make sure it continues to meet your needs. Reviewing your medications is not required — it’s simply one helpful part of making an informed decision during AEP.

And don't forget: September 25th (9/25) is also “9 to 5” Day! 🎶
So while everyone might already be thinking about the weekend, we’ll still be here all day Friday, working 9 to 5 to help make health insurance easier.
