There’s a lot of angst and otchita in the design community right now over Adobe and AI and some resent updates…which I totally understand. But while I understand the issues, as a designer, AI has become an invaluable tool to help me level up my projects.

I was able to create an engaging, branded and polished post about unicorn horn hats I’m making to sell at a local renaissance fair, in about 5 minutes flat, using Adobe Express on my iPhone.

Twin Creeks Lavender

One of my favorite events every year is annual UPick season in late spring/early summer. These graphics make up the triptych banner pinned across the top of their Instagram wall. I used a stock photo from Adobe for the background, their logo, and bits of lavender flowers and bee illustrations extrapolated from a larger, master illustration I drew last spring. 💜

New tee shirt design for . Simple artwork intended to capture the adorable key features of my beautiful little southern town: The clock tower at Greer City Hall, the new retro light posts along our sidewalks, the rail road that splices through downtown, and the twinkling lights strung all along Trade street. I even included the waving yellow man installation that captures the spirit of creativity and hospitality the Greer Cultural Arts Center and our businesses infuse everywhere around here. You can find these tees in two colors wherever South Carolina Chic pitches her tent. 🤗

Another fun poster for the Upstate Renaissance Faire setup. 🧌🦄🐉I started with the two separate images found via Adobe Stock, snapped a photo of the dog crown I made, and hocus locus, abracadabra, a little Photoshop magic and voila! I have a poster I can use for the faire and also holiday events to market my crowns👑 for both kids and pups. The large size crowns will fit dogs AND kiddos so everyone can match. 🤗 (Actually, anyone who wants to wear them, can.)👑

HOW I MADE THIS📸🖌️💻
Fun little poster I created for to help her promote and sell antler head bands she’s at an upcoming renaissance festival. First, I found the portrait of a Renaissance/Medieval girl that I liked via my Adobe Stock subscription. Next, I photographed a pair of the antlers against a black piece of board in the general position I wanted to start with. Finally, I warped, airbrushed and adjusted the levels on the antler image to match the tones of the portrait. Burned in some shadows on the ear side since the light source was coming from the right…and voila - Emily has a theme-perfect poster to help stage her tent and hopefully sell out of antlers in record time. 💲🤗🐲.

Fun with Photoshop today. 🤗Poster will be displayed at the Livy & Company tent to promote the Hounds of East Fairhaven Upstate Renaissance Faire . I found the renaissance dog images through my Adobe Stock subscription. Adobe for the win today🥊👊🦸‍♀️
