Never too late to show this group picture of the 2026 VHP mission at Ilac in the DR. An amazing week where around 1,500 patients were screened and taken care of. Congratulations to everyone of our 91 volunteers for a job so well done.

Happy New Year to all ! Yes it’s packing time for the VHP mission. So many friends came here to help today , Darlene and I could not be more grateful. We have around 50 closed boxes .. about 40 more to go 🤣🥰

Bravo to DR Hatsis Senior and Junior, Dr Chris Brown , Jo Ann Hatsis , Donna Casserly and Judi White for a very successful Cataract mini - mission. Thanks to their dedication a good number of patients have been removed from the waiting list and have recovered their eyesight. Unsung Heroes ! This week Dr Alex Hatsis and Dr Chris Brown aided by JoAnn Hatsis and Donna Casserly will fly to the DR again for a Mini Cataract Mission of 4 days planning to do 35 cataract surgeries to reduce the number of patients waiting from one year to the other. Kudos to all of you for your dedication and compassion.

We are starting the planning of the 2026 VHP mission to the Dominican Republic March 7 to March 14 .
