Here is one of my last projects in our CO home. I knew it was going to be a big makeover and I knew it would make a huge difference as well. The toilet and vanity were both replaced, LVP was installed on top of the ceramic tile, MOD tile was installed around the vanity and I brought in vertical shiplap to coordinate with the laundry room. Lastly, I painted the door (two different colors) and replaced the hardware.

Bathroom makeover on a budget! Painting makes the most impact in this space. I found a light fixture and facet on Amazon for less than $150, four crystal k***s for $15, five gold hooks for $25. I already had the cabinet paint and the wall paint was $50. So all in, under $250. What a difference!

Galley kitchen makeover! This was a project that I couldn’t wait to complete yet dreading all at the same time. I knew it was going to be time consuming and a lot of work, and it was! 64 square feet of tile, which took one day to rip out, three days to install and two days to grout. 🥴

ENTRYWAY makeover! This wall was a whopping 15 feet long and desperately needed some character.

I didn’t want the exact same slat wall as I installed in the fireplace family room but I certainly wanted it to coordinate; so I opted for varying widths using the same hemlock wood.

Fireplace makeover in our family room has me swooning! I loved the 70’s style brick fireplace but the previous owner had already painted it a cream color and I knew that wouldn’t work once I painted the walls beige; so I opted for a very bold color. I also wanted to bring in some natural wood for the slat wall and mantle.

Hello friends! Life has been full with relocating to Colorado so business has taken a back seat over the past few months. We purchased a 1972 ranch house that needs some updates, so the first project was tackling my master closet! I ripped out the single rack & shelves, applied a fresh coat of paint, installed LVP on top of the ceramic tile, put in new baseboards, installed a closet system then added a cute light with more lightbulbs!

I have spent the past few months helping my Mom redecorate her new home in Charlotte. I have enjoyed spending time with her and bouncing ideas off each other. I was pleasantly surprised at my mom’s desire to have modern decor, however, there has been some give and take with balancing the old style with the new and wrapping her head around the idea of accent colored walls. 😉
Overall we are both very happy with the end result.

Vertical shiplap provides a stunning backdrop to Austin and Drew’s guest bathroom. Switching out the black hardware to gold makes such a huge difference as well.
