90 days of no drinking, dialing in on workouts, and eating well. I feel the strongest Iโve felt in a long time...and I mean a long time.
I used to be so self conscious of my back - I had some skin issues that caused redness and irritation (especially when sweating or in the sun/heat - unfortunate for someone who wanted to workout and loose weight lol) so I NEVER wanted to show my back and now I have some back muscles?! Who am I. ๐
but hereโs what I hope you to take from this -
you donโt have to be 90 days into anything to stop and recognize how far youโve come.
Iโm someone who lives so much in the future that I forget to give current me any credit.
find the one thing youโre proud of right now. not when you hit the goal. not when you lose the weight or get the job or feel ready. right now. because that version of you - the one still in it, still figuring it out - she deserves to hear it too.
you get one you. take care of her. โบ๏ธ๐
in case no one has told you today - Iโm proud of where you are, who you are, and the way you show up. hereโs to 2026 being your year in every way ๐ค

A sunny weekend filled with celebrating my baby cousin (and now WIFE) and her wonderful HUSBAND, Lewis! ๐ซถ๐ป๐คโ๏ธ This wedding was packed with tradition, some crazy dance moves, and more laughs than I can count. A perfect start to a wonderful marriage! Congrats to the beautiful couple! Honored to have been there to celebrate your love ๐ฅฐ๐ฅน
90 days sober. I had AI interview me so I could actually reflect on it properly. these were the questions:
1. What surprised you?
2. Hardest part?
3. Habits/Rituals you're keeping?
4. Something you wouldn't have done if drinking?
5. Advice for someone who wants to do this challenge.
watch to hear my honest answers โ including what I did during these 90 days that I wouldnโt have done while drinking. that one surprised me the most. ๐ธ๐
hereโs to us - for the friends who knew you during your cringiest childhood years and your emotionally unstable teenage years...and somehow still like you ๐ฅฐ
I hope everyone gets to experience a friendship like that at least once. if you have a friend like that, tag them. they need to know. ๐โจ
I've played over three hundred shows. Some people don't get my name - is it Rizz? Russ? Chris?
If someone has ever mispronounced your name, drop it below. Let's suffer together.
I've always known my artist name is Riss โบ๏ธ. It's what everyone close to me calls me (nickname for Marissa). So I wrote a song spelling it out ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ
Seven songs. Seven days. I haven't released music in seven years. Grew up singing, went to Nashville, got too scared, worked at Warner helping other artists, helped entrepreneurs build their businesses. Now I'm building my own. This is me trying again.
Just a girl who noticed that after 30, one night out drinking was days of running at 70%. not fully me. a little foggy. a little slower. a little less sharp on the things that actually matter.
90 days without that and I've learned and executed more these last 3 months than the last year.
Ft. My boy Zeo ๐พ
Life's full of these tiny disasters. So here's your reminder to take it day by day ๐

day
I spent my twenties in Nashville. Wrote a song about everything I saw there - the bars, the culture, the hustle, the singers everywhere trying to make it. If you've been to Nashville did I get it right? Drop it below ๐ค ๐ค

Oh to wear shorts again ๐๐ผโโ๏ธโ๏ธ๐ท
Iโve always been short ๐๐ผโโ๏ธbut that never stopped me from being scrappy on the basketball court - diving on a loose ball, taking the charge, walking away with scraped up knees.๐
To my fellow short girls, we may be small but we are fierce. donโt underestimate us. ๐๐
day 4 of 7 songs in 7 days - this oneโs called "underestimate me".
