It's always strange to us when dogs like Molly sit in rescue for months and months but that's the situation Molly finds herself in. At just 1.5 years old, she's been in rescue for 6 months of that! She's in a loving foster home where she gets to meet and socialize with many many dogs, cats, kittens, and new people. She's a superstar who is incredibly enthusiastic about everything 😂

Molly has never met an animal or human she didn't like. She is a very energetic girl but takes cues from other dogs really well. If they aren't down to play that's ok with her...but if they look to zoom around the yard she's down for that too! She will need an owner who is dedicated to working with her from a training standpoint, who will stimulate her brain, and who has a sense of humor when she displays her silly Molly antics.

She's a cattle dog mix who has many many traits of the breed. She's a busy girl who is SMART as a whip. She's eager to learn, can pick up on commands very quickly, but needs work on impulse control (don't we all??). She is a perfect size at 30 pounds, is crate and potty trained, loves the car, and is fantastic in public.

Anyone considering adopting Molly will need experience owning a Cattle Dog or similar working breed as an adult. A fence is not required but would be ideal for this busy girl to bird watch and get all her sniffs in. Apply for Molly on our website www.luckypuprescsc.com!

I am the coolest wild child and also a master at napping in your lap. I may be a little weird when I first meet you, but once I check out your background report, I’m yours forever. I am super soft with velvet ears. I would love another dog companion, one larger even works! I can be a bit rowdy playing. I’m super food motivated, will do anything you tell me too for treats. Zoomies happen on the daily, so get ready! I carry my toys everywhere, even outside all around the yard. I’m ready for my forever 💙

I tell you what.
Supporting one another, as organizations, is truly the best gift we can give one another.
It’s few and far between but if people simply put egos aside, the fact that some folks do rescue differently, but also realize that we all have the same goal, RESCUE would be easier, would be much more fun again, and it would in turn save more lives.

I’ve asked for help getting this donated straw from Laurens to Anderson for a month. One offer, and then the weather messed that up.
So, Caroline (the director of the Laurens County Shelter, took it upon herself and loaded up the truck and delivered it today to us. It’s people like this that make the world a better place.
Caroline didn’t have to do this. But she chose to.
On a weekend. On a Sunday.
Because she knew that the animals needed it.

I’m thankful to have Caroline in our corner.
And so are the piggies. 🐖
