Leadership had a use case. A projected return. A clear first move. They made a decision.

That sequence — employee signal, internal advocate, firm-wide initiative — is what separates organizations that are compounding their AI advantage from organizations that are still waiting for the right moment to start.

The technology was never the hard part. It was not the budget either. It was whether anyone was paying close enough attention to see what the organization was already telling them.

When a service desk engineer finds a faster way to write a ticket resolution, they are not thinking about AI strategy.

They felt a friction point. They found a solution. They kept using it.

The challenge is that individual operational improvements stay individual. One engineer's better workflow does not become the team's better workflow without someone deciding to make it one. One team's efficiency gain does not become a firm-wide advantage without leadership building the structure around it.

The signal is already there. Your people are identifying real friction, finding real solutions, and proving that the instinct exists at the ground level.
