Through no fault of her own, I've had the most *patient* partner. Thank you so much. I really hope that you like it! Also, huge thank you to and .stitches for your patience and understanding. I appreciate all the work that you've done to put together (especially the extra work due to late people, like me)!

Dear partner, I'm sorry that I'm late in this post. I might be a couple of days late putting your bag in the mail, but you will get it!!

Dear Partner, Your care for the environment inspired me to create your bag from repurposed denim. Isn't the cloud one cool?!

Dear partner- I hope you're able to cobble together some information from this collage!
To give you some context: 1) i have an inexplicable fascination with enormous bags. I've tried making a few, but I haven't quite gotten it right, 2) I love the overall punk aesthetic of this bag, I also love the rebellious pieced nature. I love the giant safety pin, along with the mix of textures & colors, including a very bright, in-your-face color (i haven't gotten over my neon obsession), 3) I love surrealism & subversion - the lamb hunting the wolf, the evil witch being the hero, the scullery maid winning a violent war through magical fiber arts (I've always loved adult retellings of traditional fairytales (see: Red As Blood, or Tales by the Sisters Grimmer by Tanith Lee and Burning Your Boats by Angela Carter), 4)  I've never found a handbag that i want to use for more than a few months at a time,  that being said, I'm obsessed with the new east west bag shape trend (this one is ferragamo) 5) I love the power of textile arts, this quilt by Penny Gold is like a punch to the gut that takes my breath away. I don't think fiber artists get anywhere near the recognition, support, and pay that they deserve 6) I *love* upcycling and repurposing materials. I totally want to learn how to do sashiko. It's so special to have a handmade item. And one made especially for you - that's beyond amazing! 7) I love new and unusual, especially hardware. I'm a weirdo who stops people to ask if I can take a picture of their bag! This was at a brewery. 8) Punk hardware! 9) I can never have enough tote bags! Again, this is from materials that are repurposed. I often end up using a tote in place of a handbag. Terrible for organization, but they hold a lot! 🤣 (This is from a blog post on the Chapman University website.)

“Midnight Club” Star Ruth Codd Isn’t Defined By Her Disability 12/22/2023

This article is a year old; however it contains some things that I really appreciate:

- Mike Flanigan deliberately chose to cast an actor with a disability for a character with a disability

- This quote is really resonating with me "All she had to do was be who she was in order to be seen."

“Midnight Club” Star Ruth Codd Isn’t Defined By Her Disability "We don’t sit all day every day talking about it,” she tells Teen Vogue.
