Microsoft’s Xbox hardware revenue dropped 33% this year. Xbox boss Asha Sharma said the company knows it has work to do.

She explained: “While we have made progress expanding the business and our margins, player and revenue growth has not yet met our ambition. We know we have work to do to earn every player today and into the future.”

Xbox bosses say they are recommitting to their core fans with lower Game Pass prices and plans for next-generation hardware.

If they continue with these changes, I think they could come back to top of the market.

A new report published by The Verge has labelled the marketing campaign as having "offended many Xbox employees internally," and tied it to the wider "Xbox everywhere" strategy being pushed by now-former Xbox exec Sarah Bond. Link in the comments for more.
