Shanti is 75. She has lived with leprosy in Nepal for years. But when community volunteers came — and kept coming — to share the love of Christ with her, something shifted forever.

Because of generous supporters like you, she is not alone. 🙏

A father's love is one of God's greatest gifts.

Today we honor every dad who has sacrificed, persevered, and shown up for his family — in our community and in the communities we serve around the world.
Happy Father's Day. 🙏

The 48-year-old father of three in India was living with leprosy — constant pain that made it difficult to work and provide for his family. Desperate for help, he traveled from place to place seeking treatment, spending what little money his family had. Nothing worked. His condition worsened and hope began to fade.

Then a field worker from a local partner organization found him. With compassion and patience, he explained something Jitendra had never fully understood — leprosy can be cured. The team kept coming back, visiting his home, encouraging his family, and gently rebuilding trust.

With their support, Jitendra committed to treatment. Over time, his pain began to fade. His strength returned. And so did his hope.

Today Jitendra is improving — and his family's future looks different than it did before. 🙏

As we near the end of our fiscal year, we find ourselves overwhelmed with gratitude.

This year, because of you, pastors have been trained and equipped. Patients have received treatment. People who were suffering in isolation have been seen, cared for, and reminded they are not alone.

From Ghana to India to Nigeria to the Democratic Republic of the Congo — your generosity has reached farther than we could have imagined.

Thank you for being part of this work. Thank you for believing healing is possible. 🙏

In April, a shipment of medical supplies arrived in Enugu, Nigeria — made possible through the generous gifts of Hope Rises International donors. But the story didn't stop there.

Our partner, RedAid Nigeria, carefully received, inspected, and warehoused every item — then distributed them to 19 Christian mission hospitals across Southern Nigeria. From Ebonyi State to Imo, Anambra, Delta, and beyond, facilities like St. Patrick Hospital, Bishop Shanahan Hospital, and Presbyterian Hospital are now equipped to reach more patients.

This is what partnership looks like. Thank you to the team at RedAid Nigeria for getting these supplies where they needed to go — and thank you to every donor who made it possible. 🙏

In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, the local church is often the most trusted voice in a community. Pastors know their neighbors. They show up. They stay.

That's exactly why Hope Rises International is partnering with them.

By equipping pastors to recognize the signs of neglected tropical diseases like leprosy and walk people toward care, we're seeing fear replaced with understanding and isolation replaced with compassion.

Research confirms what we're already witnessing on the ground — 96% of community members want faith and health integrated, and every healthcare worker surveyed supports partnering with pastors.

When the Church is equipped, whole communities heal. 🙏

Alhassan noticed it slowly — numbness in his hands, weakness in his legs. Over time, walking became difficult. He needed a walking stick just to get around. In his remote corner of Ghana, he had no idea he had leprosy, or that treatment was within reach.

Then Pastor Jacob found him. Trained to recognize the signs, he encouraged Alhassan to seek care and kept returning through every discouraged moment — listening, encouraging, walking alongside him.

With medication, consistent care, and a pastor who never gave up, Alhassan's strength returned. Today he walks on his own — restored physically and emotionally, and no longer facing it alone. 🙏

Present healing. Eternal hope.

Not a slogan — a description of what actually happens when this work reaches someone. When a pastor walks a patient to a clinic. When a surgeon closes a wound. When a man who has been hiding for years steps back into his community.

That's what this community funds. That's what your generosity reaches toward.
Thank you for walking with us. 🙏
