This Father's Day, we honor the fathers and father figures who help create safer, stronger communities through their love, leadership, and example.
The way we teach respect, value, and dignity matters. Thank you to the men who are raising the next generation to recognize the worth of every person and stand against exploitation.
From all of us at Switch, Happy Father's Day! ππ

Each month, we gather at the Switch office to pray for survivors, our community, our staff and volunteers, and for freedom from exploitation in the Upstate. Whether you've been involved with Switch for years or are just learning about our work, you're invited to join us.
Come pray with us as we seek God's wisdom, protection, and provision for the work ahead!

At Switch, we believe that awareness and action go hand in hand. That's why we are committed to educating our community about the realities of s*x trafficking while walking alongside survivors on their journey toward healing, hope, and restoration.
Every presentation, every survivor served, every volunteer, advocate, and donor plays an integral part in this mission.
Together, we can shine a light where exploitation thrives and help create pathways to freedom and restoration.

Exploitation does not always look obvious. Sometimes the signs show up in a workplace, a local business, a waiting room, or through messages online.
That is why awareness matters.
No single red flag proves someone is being exploited, but patterns can tell us when something is not right. If someone is not free to speak for themselves, seems controlled by another person, or is being pressured through secret online contact, it is worth paying attention.
At Switch, we believe education helps protect the vulnerable and equips our community to respond with wisdom and compassion.
Stay alert. Learn the signs. Help us end exploitation in the Upstate.

Our Executive Director, Julia Starnes, has released the following statement.

Last month, SWITCH had the privilege of bringing our Prevention Training to the students at Brashier Middle College.
Through our 3-week curriculum, more than 130 students were trained and equipped with important education about preventing trafficking and exploitation, recognizing their value, and understanding that they are more than what culture, pressure, or harmful messages may try to tell them.
We are so grateful to Shiela, Karin, Patti, and Krystal for teaching these classes with compassion, wisdom, and a heart to protect and empower the next generation.
Prevention matters. Education matters. Every student matters.
Together, we are helping young people know the truth:
You are seen. You are valued. You are more.
