Looking back at 2023, it has by far been one of the most transformative years I’ve ever had. I’ve pretty much lived outside my comfort zone this year, and I wouldn’t change a moment of it. So excited to see what the new year has in store. ✨

The definition of the word “Mythology” is a traditional story that deals with history or origins, often with supernatural elements.
The title track from my next EP deals with just that. Choosing someone to play a mythological role in your life, while fully aware that it’s not really accurate.
Consciously choosing symbols.
Why not? We have enough things that symbolize bad luck. Why not choose something to reinforce your belief in yourself and your guidance from source?

Does anyone else struggle with self promotion? I finally wrote my newsletter announcing my latest EP, but I’ve been putting it off for weeks. 😅
I love my music and I’m so proud of it, but when it comes to sharing and posting it, I drag my feet every step of the way.
I used to think that was something I had to fight against - that I needed to be a more extroverted person in order to succeed as a musician. But in the past few years I’m trying instead to focus on creating in a way that works for me and that is actually a part of my personality.
I definitely enjoy making real connections with people who enjoy my work, but it doesn’t have to require being something I’m not - in fact, it shouldn’t!
But the tricky part is that being a natural introvert and hiding from the world can look remarkably similar. 😬
But finding people to work with and getting bolder with my style helps a lot. The music can speak for itself, and all I have to do is get out of the way. 😊
