Perched on a ridge overlooking the Biltmore and the Asheville skyline in the distance, this mountain modern home draws on natural materials and organic landscaping to thoughtfully complement the surrounding scenery. Our goal was to design a holistic retreat for our clients, a place to unplug from the hustle and bustle of city life and melt into the natural environment.

With nearly 40 years of experience in the Charleston region, Bill brings an extraordinary depth of knowledge in residential design, historic preservation, and the architectural character of this place we all call home. With ties to the Upstate, Bill will help DOMA bring thoughtful, regionally inspired design from the coast to the mountains and everywhere in between. The home lifts the main living spaces above, where light-filled interiors unfold onto expansive porches and a seamless connection between indoors and out. The details lend a sense of quiet refinement, creating a home that is both timeless and deeply connected to its setting.
