This song comes from a place I can’t fake. It’s about silence. Regret. The distance that grows between people. The damage that can happen not just from what was done, but from what was never said. Sometimes you don’t realize the weight of a moment until it’s long gone, and all that’s left is the echo of it.

Over the last few years, I’ve been peeling back layers of myself through songwriting. Chasing different sounds, different moods, and different versions of the truth. Collide is one of the deepest pieces of that journey. It hurts, it heals, and it says the things I didn’t know how to say out loud.

Three years and eight months ago, I started over musically. Not to be seen or approved, but to tell the truth. I chose to write from a place of identity rather than expectation. Every song since has been a snapshot of who I am in that moment, unfinished, evolving, and real.

As I continue to walk through both the highs and the lows, growing spiritually and learning how to be a better father, husband, son, and friend, I realize I still have so much left to say.
