BOLD Scholar Campus Check-In:
Benjamin Luines of University of South Carolina Upstate
Benjamin Luines has had an incredible start to his summer, and we couldn’t be prouder to share what this remarkable young man has been up to!
Benjamin kicked off his summer by volunteering at our annual BOLD Leadership Network’s Celebration of Excellence in Education Awards Gala. Beyond his official duties, he truly embodied the heart and spirit of what it means to be a BOLD Scholar through his character and leadership.
During the event, Benjamin went completely above and beyond by helping a guest's 93-year-old mother. He was incredibly attentive, ensured she got safely and comfortably settled, and even helped get her plate. We want to publicly acknowledge and praise Benjamin for his genuine kindness, maturity, and support throughout the entire evening!
The momentum didn't stop there! As a summer intern with the Urban League of the Upstate, Benjamin recently had a dream come true - an opportunity serving as a Production Assistant alongside Ms. Brittney Brackett and Mr. Brian Erkens. He did a phenomenal job capturing behind-the-scenes content, welcoming talent, and helping to ensure a completely smooth production.
To top off an already amazing season, Benjamin was recently awarded The Taste of Black & My Brother's Keeper Alliance of South Carolina Scholarship!
Join us in celebrating Benjamin for his outstanding leadership, his servant's heart, and his continued academic and professional success!
