Sign up for text alerts for daily status reports. Don’t let auto-correct capitalize the “s” in “swamprabbit” Staff and volunteers are making incredible progress! Thank you Bike Walk Greenville, UGATA and so many others in the trail community giving of their time and resources!
Construction of the connection to Legacy Park is getting underway. For everyone's safety the Green Line between Woodruff Rd and Verdae Rd will be closed 6/28-6/30.
WOW!! What a great moment. The final 'smooth'. Final 'roll.' Final 'piece.' The Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit Trail is officially now paved from Verdae to Laurens Road Bridge!!
Greenville County crews did an incredible job with a perfect pave done ahead of schedule! We will celebrate the new 4 mile Green Line extension on Friday at 10am at the bridge!

Another day, another couple hundred tons of asphalt. County crews are producing, on averaging, a ½ mile of new, super smooth, trail every day. We are marching toward downtown at a remarkable pace. Verdae Blvd to Holland Park along the Green Line of the Swamp Rabbit is now open. We are getting close to you being able to hop down the Prisma Health Swamp Rabbit all the way from Travelers Rest to Verdae Blvd! One more major update to come.
Construction Alert: The Swamp Rabbit Trail over the Reedy River downstream of Mauldin Rd (34.7962789, -82.3649662) is expected to be closed through Wednesday next week while ReWa finishes up repairs to a pipe in the area. Yea, this makes it difficult to hit the sweet new Mtn Bike Trails at Conestee Nature Preserve. So find an on-street detour or put the bikes on the rack, either way the effort is worth the reward. Amanda and the Conestee crew did a great job. More wheels on the dirt will make these new trails even better. Have a great weekend everyone wherever you wander. Ty
