The Lindley Cemetary was established in 1847 near Greentown, Indiana. The Lindley Cemetery was established in 1847 near Greentown, Indiana.

James Lindley was the first Lindley to be buried on what used to be his land on this bend at Wildcat Creek. James Lindley was born in 1779 and died in 1851. The Lindley's were the first settlers in this area.

Funeral of Dorothy Opal Lindley. Dorothy died July 28, 2012, age 89. She is buried next to her husband, Joseph Lindley (1920-1986). They are both buried next to Joseph's parents, Bertha Mendenhall Lindley (1884-1986) and Edward Samuel Lindley (1882-1971). And they are all buried next to Joseph's grandparents Prudy Lindley (1852-1943) and John William Lindley (1858-1918).

Located on CR-50N 1/2 mile west of CR-780E at the convergence of Wildcat Creek & Lawn Creek. The cemetery is at the north west corner of the Greenlawn Cemetery, the entrance is the drive at the western edge of the Greenlawn Cemetery.
