Yesterday was a great day for tree planting! We planted nine trees (small stature and shade) around town through homeowner requests. Thanks for the great photos, Matthew Cavanaugh!

Our first planting of the year! Greenfield Tree Committee members, along with help from parents and students, planted 7 shade trees at Four Corners School. Thank you to volunteers and organizers!

It was a big day at our tree nursery today! We potted up and labeled 50 trees that were delivered earlier this week, as well as started setting up the irrigation lines. We can’t wait to start planting around town!

$95K grant will add 40 trees on Federal Street in Greenfield - Greenfield Recorder The "Greening Federal Street" project, funded by a $95,240 grant, will plant 40 new trees on Federal Street to transform it into a pedestrian-friendly walking route and provide shade.
