NWTC was proud to join We All Rise as a community partner for this year’s Juneteenth celebration. 🤝
Juneteenth honors freedom while also recognizing the ongoing journey toward justice and opportunity. Being part of this event meant coming together as a community to reflect, celebrate, and grow.
Together, we’re shaping a stronger future — built through partnership, understanding, and shared commitment.
The Green Bay community gathered in Joannes Park on June 13 to celebrate Juneteenth. The event included food, music and the Milwaukee Flyers tumblers. See link below ⬇️

Career exploration starts long before students choose a college — and experiences like this help make future possibilities feel real! 🩺
This week at NWTC Marinette’s A Day in the Life: Healthcare Summer Camp, local K12 students stepped into healthcare careers through hands-on activities and conversations with educators and industry professionals.
By connecting students to pathways in nursing, EMS, biomedical engineering, and more, we’re helping build awareness of meaningful careers that strengthen the future of our communities. 💙

For Kim Rudness, her nursing pin represents more than an achievement — it’s a tribute to her son, Greyson, and what brought her to NWTC.
Kim and her husband, Adam, lost Greyson to Tay-Sachs, an ultra-rare neurological disease, just before his third birthday.
Shortly after, Kim felt a pull toward the field that had been such a significant part of their lives. She enrolled at NWTC to pursue a nursing degree, determined to turn her experience into a way that supports others navigating complex care and difficult moments.
Now, as an NWTC nursing graduate, Kim is ready to step into the profession with both skill and purpose.
She is one of many NWTC students who bring purpose into the classroom and graduate ready to make a meaningful impact — turning life experiences into careers that serve others.
