My sister-in-law Molly messaged me a month ago suggesting we host a farm to table pizza night for our families.
Well, guess what we did today?
It was such a fun way to share our garden harvests, and we’ve already decided it’s going to be a yearly tradition!
What’s your favorite way to share your harvest?
Last year the voles (or as Jake likes to call them, “vultures”) ate half of my potato harvest before I could. 😢
This year I switched to grow bags and kept them on a table instead of planting in the ground, and it worked! 🥔
Highly recommend if pests are a problem in your garden.

Well, after 5 years of living in our house we just realized this is a honeycrisp apple tree (at least according to ChatGPT and Jake’s tastebuds).
It’s so exciting because it’s actually our favorite kind of apple! 🍎
Now for the next challenge: how the heck do you keep the bugs/pests away so we end up with more than 2 edible apples?

Some people celebrate their birthday with cake and champagne.
I spent my birthday learning how to water bath can for the first time, and made pickles and pickled pepperoncini. Only lost one jar of pickles in the process so I’d say I was pretty successful!
