We're a church with a vision to be the bridge of hope to the people of Green Bay and the surrounding communities. You're welcome here.

Don't worry about what you wear, where you come from, or who you are. Join us at 9:00 am or 10:45 am on Sundays! Green Bay First is a neighborhood church, located at the corner of Fisk & Shawano, in Green Bay, WI. Our desire is to grow as individuals in Christ, as well as to reach out to our community to win others for Him.

Not just when life is easy. Not just when prayers are answered the way we hoped. Not just when everything is going our way.

God is good. All the time.

His goodness isn't based on our circumstances. It's rooted in His character. He is faithful when we are weary, present when we feel alone, and steadfast when everything around us seems uncertain.

If you're walking through a season of blessing, praise Him.

If you're walking through a season of waiting, trust Him.

Because God's goodness doesn't change with the seasons of life.

He is good yesterday.
He is good today.
And He will be good tomorrow.

The brightest lights aren't the ones drawing attention to themselves, they're the ones pointing people to God.

Every act of kindness.
Every prayer offered.
Every word of encouragement.
Every moment spent sharing God's truth.

It all matters.

You may never fully see the impact your life has on others, but God does. The way you live, love, serve, and represent Christ can leave an eternal mark on someone's story.

Don't underestimate the influence of a faithful life.

Shine where God has placed you, and let your light lead others to Him.

Giving is about so much more than money.

You can give your time.
You can give encouragement.
You can give forgiveness.
You can give a listening ear.
You can give kindness when it's unexpected and grace when it's undeserved.

Every day, we have opportunities to pour into the lives of others.

The world often tells us to focus on what we can get. Jesus teaches us to focus on what we can give.

And here's the beautiful truth: when we live with open hands and generous hearts, we often discover that the blessing isn't in what we receive, it's in becoming more like Him.

Look for a way to bless someone today. You may never know how much your generosity means.

Holiness isn't about looking perfect—it's about looking more like Jesus.

Every day, we are faced with choices. Some draw us closer to God. Others pull us away from His best for our lives. The road of holiness is choosing His way, even when it's not the easiest path.

It's choosing integrity when compromise is tempting.
It's choosing forgiveness when bitterness feels justified.
It's choosing obedience when convenience is calling.

God hasn't called us to blend in with the world. He's called us to be set apart for His purposes.

The path of holiness may not always be popular, but it always leads us closer to the heart of God.

One step at a time. One choice at a time. Keep walking.

"But I, with shouts of grateful praise, will sacrifice to You. What I have vowed I will make good. I will say, ‘Salvation comes from the Lord.’" — Jonah 2:9

Jonah prayed these words from the belly of a fish, not after the miracle, but in the middle of the mess.

That's a powerful reminder for all of us: worship isn't just for the mountaintops. Sometimes the greatest acts of faith happen when we choose to praise God before we see the breakthrough.

When circumstances are difficult, God is still faithful.
When answers seem delayed, God is still working.
When the future feels uncertain, salvation still belongs to the Lord.

Don't wait for everything to be fixed before you worship.

Praise Him in the waiting.
Trust Him in the storm.
Thank Him for what He's already done—and for what He's about to do.

Worship isn’t about what we get out of it—it’s about who we’re giving ourselves to.

It’s easy to drift into treating worship like something we evaluate: Did I like the song? Did it move me? Did it feel right? But true worship shifts the focus away from us entirely.

Worship is surrender.
Worship is response.
Worship is recognizing God for who He is and offering Him our full attention, affection, and obedience.

"God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth." — John 4:24

When we gather, we’re not consumers—we’re participants in something holy. We don’t come to be entertained. We come to encounter the living God.

And when our hearts realign with that truth, everything changes.

There’s something powerful that happens when we stop hiding and start healing.

We were never meant to walk through life in isolation or pretend we have it all together. God often brings healing through honest confession, trusted community, and prayer that carries us when we feel weak.

Healing isn’t just personal—it’s often relational.

So don’t keep everything bottled up. Find someone you trust. Speak honestly. Pray together. Let God do what only He can do.

Your breakthrough might be one honest conversation and one prayer away.
