📢 Medicare Update: GLP-1 Medications for Weight Loss

Beginning July 1, 2026, Medicare will launch a new temporary program that may help eligible beneficiaries access certain GLP-1 medications for obesity treatment and weight loss.

✅ Available to eligible Medicare Part D beneficiaries
✅ Starts July 1, 2026
✅ Runs through December 31, 2027
✅ Managed directly by CMS as a special demonstration program

Important: This program is separate from your Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage, and eligibility requirements will apply.
