In 2011 tragedy struck our family. Craig; husband, father of four, and friend of many was stung by a bee and went into anaphylactic shock.
He spent 12 long days in the Intensive Care Unit and another 40 in a rehabilitation hospital. If it wasn’t for all of the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff our family would no longer be. It was during this journey that we discovered the selflessness and passion that those of you in the health care industry possess. Time to think about ordering those winter and Christmas scrubs! I can't wait to sew up some of the great fabrics!! They will be so much fun and your coworkers and patients will love them.
Right now I am thankful to all the doctors, nurses and other people who wear scrubs and save people's lives. Just a year ago, my family and I were spending many hours in NCMC intensive care. My husband had been stung by a bee and had a severe allergic reaction. This changed our lives forever. If it had not been for all the wonderful people that work at NCMC, the paramedics and the people the work at the Rehab hospital, we would not be where we are today.
Thanks to all of my friends, the word is getting out!

Now that the weather has been a little cooler, it's time to think about winter. I have some great winter/Christmas fabrics and I am excited to get some orders so that I can sew some of them up. They will be so much fun.
Well, I did not get much done this weekend!!! Too many things to do and not enough time, oh well. Here comes another busy week!!!
It has been a very busy week here!!! I certainly am ready for the weekend. Hopefully I will get some things done and feel somewhat caught up and a little rested before the week starts again. Have a great weekend!!!
I have been very busy working on the order of nine tops. At the present, I have four cut out and partially sewn.
