We couldn't let Father's Day weekend pass without celebrating the dads in our church family. The ones who swing their kids around the lobby, who'll go head-to-head in a foot-long-eating contest just to make their kid laugh, who wear sticky fingerprints like a badge of honor.

Who's a dad like this in your life? Tag him below and tell him thanks. 👇

Look, mistakes happen. Like, when I say “next Wednesday,” does that mean the next time my calendar says Wednesday or the Wednesday after that? Exactly…nobody knows.
Aaaaaanyway, what we do know is this: our Block Party flyer distribution will be on 6/24 and 7/1 – not on 6/17, as advertised in Sunday’s bulletin.
Sorry 'bout that!

I’m not crying, you’re crying!

Thank you to everyone who came out to Shane and Aubrey’s “See you later” party.

When's the last time someone asked how you were doing and you said, "I'm good, just busy"?

We live in a culture that treats busyness like a trophy. The more packed your schedule, the more important you must be. But Jesus modeled something completely countercultural: He withdrew. Even when the crowds were pressing in and the needs were real, He stepped away to be alone with the Father.

He didn't say no to bad things. He said no to good things — to protect his closeness to God's purpose.

And He extends that same invitation to us: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28)

Real rest isn't found in the next long weekend or vacation. It's found in communion with Him. When we stop conforming to the world's rhythm of exhaustion and start waiting on God, we walk in the peace and purpose He actually has for us.

So here's the question this week's message left us with: What would change if you spent time alone with God before diving into your to-do list today?

Drop a 🙏 in the comments if this hit home or share this with someone who needs the reminder.

If you've been putting off getting baptized, let this be your nudge. Baptism isn't about being perfect or having it all figured out. It's about saying publicly what you already believe privately: that Jesus is Lord and your life belongs to Him.

We're baptizing this Sunday, June 7th. If you or someone you love is ready to take that step, message us or drop a comment below and we'll get you connected. We would love to celebrate with you.

Some goodbyes are hard to write, and this is one of them.

Pastor Shane & Aubrey, thank you for the years you've poured into this church. Your fingerprints are on so many lives here. The kids who grew up in Aubrey's care, the people who were discipled and loved under Shane's leadership. It all mattered. It still matters.

We're so grateful you were ours for a season. We love you, and we're cheering loudly for your next season.

Join us this Sunday as we say goodbye to the McClanahan Fam. A small reception is planned right after service.

Have you ever felt like you were waiting on God, when He was actually waiting on you?

Pastor shared something this week that hit close to home. If God has called you to something, the fulfillment is already being arranged. You just have to step into it. Listen. Obey.

And as a church, our invitation right now is simple: be still. Let Him give us exactly what we need to be who He's called us to be.

Drop a 🙌 if this one landed for you.

Waiting is hard.
Especially when you can't see what God is doing.

But Pastor Nick brought a word Sunday that reframes the whole thing. The waiting, the hoping, the hard days... they're not detours.

They're part of the route God has mapped out for you.

Swipe through for 4 practical ways to trust God's timing this week.

Whether you're waiting on a job, a relationship, a healing, or just some clarity, one of these might be exactly what you needed to hear today.

Which practice are you going to try this week? Drop it in the comments. We'd love to pray with you.
