We had tons of fun with Greeley Stampede giving out tons of merchandise and admissions tickets. You could gain free admission into the Stampede if you raced a stick horse around a barrel! ❤️🖤💚 This Friday Fest is Downtown Greeley & University of Northern Colorado / UNC Marcus Garvey Cultural Center Juneteenth Celebration! 💙💛🐻

We are excited to have Tony Exum Jr performing this week! He is a nationally recognized Saxophonist with a signature blend of R&B, funk, and soul-driven sound he calls “Rhythm N Smooth.”

Treasure Hunt: A reminder that we still have our treasure hunt item out in the wild. This is provided by Union Colony Civic Center and are 2 tickets to the Blippi show on 11/5! Come to Friday Fest and find a pair of hidden drum sticks to claim them! Instructions will be labeled on the sticks.

Spotlight on the Greeley Warehouse ��️��������

Did you know Greeley is a hub of musicians and makers? Check out their storage spaces below. Originally built in 1913, it was the first Ice Haus and ice rink for Greeley. It was conveniently located near the train tracks to gather goods in the basement that were later pulled up onto the second floor with a horse-drawn elevator. In the 1930s and 40s, it was turned into a mercantile that sold various farming supplies. In the 1950s and 60s, it was transformed into a warehouse for the Army. Finally, in the 1990s, it was purchased by a painting company called Woody’s Painting. In 2017, Damon Smith (pictured outside the building and also inside his music room) bought the building after previously managing the warehouse. He now owns and manages it with his wife, Jodie, as a storage space for Greeley’s thriving underground artistic community. With 28 total units, there are various artistic activities happening under this roof, from ballet to screen printing, band practice, and painting. Did you also know Damon is our new Audio Technician for our live events and we couldn’t be more excited to be working with him!!
