This photo is a part of a creative art show at the entitled “Hope” which is a Peek In Show, where you can see the art through the window at Atlas. I always have a hard time naming pieces, not wanting to be too cheesey. During this time of being home and away from friends and extended family I have had the intense desire to get to the mountains and into nature. My friend Lisa said it this way, “I experience the restoration of my soul when I’m in the mountains. It’s a gift from God to live near so much beauty.” The mountain air smelled so sweet and this little perfect flower was growing out of the dead needles and right next to this cone. I don’t think I’ve ever seen these birds in my yard before, but there seem to be so many birds this spring, maybe they like the lack of traffic and pollution? These are common grackles, fun to say, and they love our seeds! @ Greeley, Colorado
