We have some exciting news!! A good friend and coach Ray Mondragon is joining the familia this coming season for our Azteca Wrestling Club program! Read below to learn more about Ray.
📣 📣
We would like to welcome Ray Mondragon to the coaching staff this upcoming season!!
Ray Mondragon joins Azteca Wrestling with more than 20 years of coaching experience developing young athletes and leaders in Northern Colorado. Most notably, he spent the past 8 years as Head Wrestling Coach at Valley Middle School and 4 years as Head Coach of the Valley High School Boys Soccer program, while also coaching numerous youth sports throughout his career.
Ray believes the most important victories happen both on and off the mat, while focusing on building young men and women of character, integrity, and respect. While he loves to compete and win, he is equally passionate about teaching athletes how to win with humility and lose with dignity, pride, and sportsmanship. Nothing is more important than the life lessons wrestling and other sports teach one’s self of self-reliance, accountability, and discipline.

Welcome Frankie to the coaching staff here at the center!
📣 📣
We would like to introduce you to one of our newest coaches Frankie Cisneros for the upcoming season!
Hello everyone,
My name is Frankie Cisneros, and I’m honored to be a part of this wrestling program.
I grew up in Greeley, Colorado, and wrestling has been a part of my life since I was 5 years old. The sport helped shape who I am by teaching me discipline, accountability, resilience, and hard work. I’ve had the opportunity to give back through coaching as an assistant for the Northridge High School wrestling program for four years and with Predators Wrestling Club, helping athletes from youth through high school develop both on and off the mat.
As someone born and raised in this community, giving back means a lot to me. Growing up, I wish I had more mentors pushing and guiding me, which is why coaching is so important to me today. My goal is to help young athletes grow—not just into better wrestlers, but better people.
More than anything, I’m a father. I’ve had the privilege of mentoring my daughter through wrestling at the high school level and watching her grow in the sport. I’m also the proud father of a two-year-old son who’s just beginning his own wrestling journey. Being a dad has taught me that leadership starts with being present, consistent, and setting the example every day.
For me, wrestling is about more than wins and losses—it’s about building character, confidence, discipline, and toughness without losing compassion. I’m excited to invest in these athletes, help them grow, and be a positive influence in their lives both on and off the mat.

Last week, we got to celebrate an incredible milestone: for the first time, every one of our high school seniors graduated!
This win represents years of hard work from these students, support from their families, and countless hours from the coaches, mentors, and volunteers who walk alongside them every week.
Thank you to for sponsoring our graduation party and helping us recognize our students! You truly made it a special night.
We are incredibly proud of these young men and women and all they have accomplished. Congratulations, Class of 2026! The future is bright, and we can't wait to see where your journey takes you next.
