Generations Church

We wrapped up the Kick Your Buts teaching series this last Sunday by unraveling the “but what about my needs?” excuse so many of us end up using, when it comes to church.

Throughout scripture, Jesus is quite clear that the path to following Him requires laying down our needs to serve others.

It’s VBS Family Day + Dude Day. What’s all that mean?!?

gKids will finish out VBS 2026 with a chance to invade the adult worship experience and sing some of their favorite songs from the week. They’ll also wrap up the Rainforest Falls content in their environments.

And for all the fellas: it’s Dude Day. We’ve got a photo booth and some giveaways, so grab a coffee and get to church! We’ll have you on your way in plenty of time for you to get home and mow the lawn. 😉

It's Dude Day, and VBS Family Day.

We'll take a moment in each worship experience to celebrate the men of influence in our church and giveaway some stuff along the way. We'll also have a Photo Booth set up, so dudes: come in your best dad attire!

It's also VBS Family Day, and our gKids will invade the adult worship experience to lead us in some of their favorite songs from Vacation Bible School. Plus, sweet treats for the kiddos!

Today we observe Juneteenth - a day marking the end of slavery in America, a day to honor resilience and hope. As followers of Christ, we affirm the dignity God has given every person, and we recommit to reflecting Jesus through justice, mercy, and humility. Today we remember. We celebrate. We give thanks for freedom!
