The water line near East High has been repaired so there WILL be school at East High tomorrow for the last day of school!! The area is still under a boil water advisory. We will be adhering to that advisory and will provide bottled water for students at ECHS.

Due to a water main break near East Carter High School, there will not be school at East High. East High is the only school affected.

In honor of the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, we wish everyone a meaningful Memorial Day.

Just a reminder that there is no school on Monday, May 25, 2026.

Construction has officially begun on the Carter County High School/Career and Technical Center.

For safety and security reasons, the site cannot be accessed by visitors.

Even if the gate is open, only construction personnel have authorized access to the site due to heavy equipment in motion and the need to preserve ground work.

We will share regular updates on the construction process so our families and community can see the progress.

Due to Election Day, there is no school tomorrow, May 19, 2026.

Bus #4 - East End route will be delayed approximately 35-40 minutes today, May 15, 2026.
