Somehow I found myself teaching through Philippians at a cabin In the to women on International Women’s Day 👏

The thought that keeps rising to the surface after our JOY themed weekend Is this: Joy is a relational inheritance.

It can’t be manufactured or faked, but It flows through a life giving relationship with Jesus.

I’m so grateful for the women who gathered with open hearts, honest conversations, and a hunger for more of God. It was a privilege to open Scripture together and watch the Lord meet us there. It was a true honor to be with you!

Praying that the joy we talked about this weekend continues to grow in your life and the lives of all the women in my life and on my feed!

I love my little family

I have read Mark 12 several times. It includes the greatest and second greatest commandment (verses 30 & 31). Today, verse 34 stuck out to me. Jesus acknowledged progress in the scribe’s understanding of God’s kingdom, but implied He was still missing it.

✨ It is possible to live CLOSE to God’s Kingdom by having an awareness and a general interest in a “kingdom-like” life. BUT, we live FULLY in God’s Kingdom when we confess Jesus as Lord, commit to being transformed by the Holy Spirit, and align ourselves with Jesus’ teachings and values. ✨

The question I am asking myself is, “Am I living Kingdom-like or Kingdom-filled?” The second question I am asking is, “Am I helping others cross the line to full commitment?”

It has been a full weekend!

✨ Ridge played his final soccer game of the season. He really loved soccer this time around & it showed in each game. We were so proud of him! He is signed up for soccer camp with Marshall University and is very excited.

✨I had the opportunity to preach at The Chapel for Bloom Ministries conference. I met a lot of amazing women who are active and passionate about ministry in the church and through their businesses.

✨ Church with my sweet little fam today reminds me how blessed I am to be a mom to Ridge & Roe - I’m thankful for the blessings God has given us and the way He leads us day to day. Gateway Christian Church
