We are offering two four-part sessions to learn the basics about horses. The cost is $140 for all four sessions. This is for adults 18 and older.
Topics include: behavior, how horses see the world, approaching haltering, leading, tying, grooming, tacking, etc. We will follow the lessons in the Certified Horsemanship Association Level One manual. If interested, please message us here! Or you can email [email protected].
The dates for Session 1 are:
October 5th, 19th
November 2nd and 16th at 11am.
Session 2 dates are:
October 14th, 21st, 28th
November 4th .
Sessions are limited to four participants. Participants are expected to attend all sessions.

Have you ever wanted to learn from horses? Come to our Cowgirl for a Day! We will interact in horse-guided activities, make new friends, be creative, and have good food. Please read the flier, it has most of the details for the day.

Little Bay Farm gained another horse, Bootin, who joined recently. He has had a great time meeting the kids who come to ride and their parents. I hope he wants to participate in the future!

There are some days when having a farm means encountering many challenges. Usually, the challenges are with equipment, lack of equipment, getting repairs done on equipment, or just plain old operator error. Today is one of those days. The horses and dogs are safe. I am safe. I can weather these small storms and know it will get better.
