5th Grade Dance is coming up April 25,2025 at 6pm-8pm in the Gym. Parents aren’t allowed at Dance unless you are volunteering.

Bingo Night is Thursday, January 16th from 6pm-7:30pm. We hope you can come out and have some family fun! 🐏 💚

This week is Red Ribbon Week. Below are the spirit days. Wear red tomorrow! ♥️

Monday, October 21st is Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Show your awesome bus driver how much you appreciate them. We encourage you to make a card, bring them a snack or gift, or give them a warm thank you when you get on the bus tomorrow to show your appreciation.

Below are updates from our PTA:

1. We raised $11,530.40 from the Step It Up fundraiser. $1,153.04 will be going to pay for new PE equipment.

2. Membership dues increased to $10. Please consider joining if you haven’t already. We love volunteers. Please note, you can still join to support our school without committing to volunteering or coming to the meetings. About half of our members are teachers, and we would love more parents to join.

3. If you would like to be a PTA board member next school year, you must be a member of Trip’s PTA for at least 6 months and volunteer at least two times to be considered as a nominee. Three of the board members are stepping down at the end of the school year, so spots will be open to vote on.

5. Room Parents should be receiving information from the PTA in the Group Chat. If you are a room parent, and have not been invited to a group chat, please email us.

Overall, our goal is to increase awareness, support our students and staff, and increase family engagement at Trip Elementary. We hope you join us as a member and if not, definitely check out our fun events that we host such as the movie night last Friday.
