Had a slow start this morning, but Mr. John & Mrs. Cathy hung in there & put a solid box together.

The winds were down this morning giving us a chance to concentrate on some trout fishing in somewhat calm conditions compared to what we have been fishing in. Took me a few spots to find some clean water that had shrimp. The shrimp I seen popping out of the water weren’t big, but the trout were eating them pretty good. All the trout we caught had shrimp in their mouths. Got on a good run and caught 50 before the North wind kicked up. Matrix Shad Ultraviolet did the trick under four horsemen corks & double rigs.

The reds were hungry for those gold spoons again. Helped out Capt Marty Lacoste with his crew. They had a blast fighting those fish.

High winds kept us inside so we hit the reds. Slot reds were caught on shrimp under High Water Tackle corks while the bull reds were caught on cracked crab.
