In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed on Monday as we take time to remember and honor those who served our country. We wish everyone a safe holiday weekend.

A ransomware group reportedly gained access to data connected to Instructure’s Canvas platform, the learning management system used by millions of students, teachers, colleges, and universities. The breach may have exposed personal and educational data tied to schools using the platform.

Reports say the incident involved the ShinyHunters extortion group and that a ransom has since been paid. While details remain limited, the situation is raising new concerns around third-party cybersecurity risks in education.

Last Friday we traded keyboards for volleyballs at Sports Garden. It was a good chance to step away and just enjoy time together outside the office.
