What an Incredible Youth Mission Trip!
We are so thankful for everyone who joined us on this life-changing journey to Norman, OK!

From worshipping together to sharing meals, working hard, and enjoying fun fellowship, this trip was truly a blessing. Thank you to all the youth, adult leaders, and volunteers who helped make a BIG impact in the Norman community. Your hard work and heart for service did not go unnoticed.

We can't wait to see where God leads us next on future mission trips!

This summer, First Grapevine's Children's Sunday School is rolling out a camp-inspired feel - something we're calling Kids Camp Sundays. This fun, faith-filled experience brings the joy of an outdoor camp right into our church (with the added bonus of no poison ivy or your clothes smelling like smoke for weeks!) Each week, kids pre-K through 5th grade dive deeper into Bible lessons, enjoy "Jamming with Josh" camp favorites during music time, and take part in creative, hands-on crafts that capture the excitement of summer camp. If you haven't checked it out yet, this Sunday is a perfect day to come campin'! Here are a few of our favorite Jamming with Josh shots from this past Sunday (June 7).

What a fantastic week it has already been at First Grapevine Methodist's Creative Arts Camp - and there is still another full day of creative fun to go! Tomorrow, June 4, is also the day for our big showcase of all the kids have created and learned. So, make your plans to swing by Founders Chapel (422 Church St., 76051) at Noon tomorrow to catch a very special musical presentation by all our campers, as well as view the showcase of all their creative efforts! Last week we kicked off Respawn: our Video Game Bible Study! We had a blast playing smash and playing in the gym afterwards. We talked about how God looks at us from the inside and the labels people give us or we give ourselves don’t matter. We meet again TODAY: from 1-3 for respawn and then Open Gym to follow! (Scroll to watch our worship director play some basketball with the youth!)

It's hard to believe that it is already Week Three of our Life's Defining Moments worship series. This week's focus is "Never Stop Graduating" and just so happens to coincide with our Senior Sunday celebrations. Please schedule an extra couple of moments before or after services this Sunday to swing by the Founders Chapel atrium and leave our graduating high school seniors a note of congrats and encouragement. (We understand those baskets will hold gifts as well as cards, if you are so inclined.)

Yesterday, Josh spoke at Grapevine High School’s FCA during lunch, and it was an awesome time connecting with students! If you missed us this week, don’t worry — we’ll be back next week hanging out, having conversations, and building community. Hope to see you there!

As part of our 11 AM services yesterday (May 3), First Grapevine Methodist Church had the honor and since joy of confirming six new members into the faith! Olivia Goheen, Quinton Gregory, Zander Lemman, Dylan Rasmussen, Tyler Rasmussen, and Quinn Willis were officially confirmed and took their vows of membership during the 11 AM Contemporary service, and then immediately went to the Sanctuary to be officially welcomed by the 11 AM Traditional congregation. While all these fine young Christians are already active and integral parts of the First Grapevine family, please join us in officially welcoming them to full active membership. Congrats to our Confirmands and their Confirmation Class leaders Josh Ingram and Jon Magill!
