Adore Ministries
A grassroots ministry centered on knowing, loving and serving God. Praying together for over a year, a vision birthed from God came to the forefront.
In 2004, under the guidance of Bishop Sam Jacobs and the vision of Fr. Mark Toups and Paul George, Adore began as an outreach to lead people into a relationship with God. The first initiative of Adore Ministries was to bring the relevancy of the Gospel to those who were disenchanted, fallen away, un-evangelized, marginalized or desiring to know more. Through teaching, sacramental worship, and comm
When should try therapy? When you have just one thing to complain to a friend about.
Navigating mental health support—whether for yourself or your family—can feel completely overwhelming. Even when you know the signs, the executive functioning it takes to manage appointments, insurance, and referrals is a lot to carry.
In Episode 6, we're diving deep into the realities of mental health, why the process feels so complicated, and how to know when intervention is actually necessary.
As you'll see in the clip, the biggest takeaway is simple: Therapy is for more than just crises. You don't have to wait for everything to feel like it's falling apart to seek support.

What is the difference between disruption, distraction, and when that disruption is holy? The into today's conversation in episode 5 of the Secret Sauce Podcast to find out. Link in bio.
Sometimes we think building deep connections or leading a great team requires a flawless, over-produced program. But the truth? It usually just requires you to show up.
In today’s episode, we’re talking about those quiet, unexpected moments where you choose to be present for someone else—even when you don’t have the perfect words, and even when they aren't the loudest voice in the room. It’s about looking at the person who seems indifferent or distant, accepting the challenge, and choosing to cheer them on anyway.
Because at the end of the day, people don’t remember the programs. They remember who stood in their corner.

Meet Felicity.
1 of our 4 interns who have said yes to God and his mission this summer.
Here is a little about her:
What drew you to apply for this internship?
I know I owe a lot to the people who walked with me during high school, and I want to be that person for someone else. I truly believe in the power of witnessing to Christ through your life.
In your own words, what does "authentic accompaniment" mean to you?
Authentic accompaniment means helping people, not for appearances, but because they are beloved by God. It means less of me, more of Him.
What is your "secret sauce"—a unique talent or hobby people might not know about?
I make some pretty awesome Sourdough pizza.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
I think it would be to stop comparing my life to others, because there will always be ways I could be better.

For the last few days we have been celebrating Mr. President himself, Gordon! 🥳
Gordon stepped in as president a few years ago, and from the start has focused on intentionally investing in each missionary. He strives to serve us and our missions. Our mission wouldn’t look the way it does now without him. 🙏🏻❤️
Join us in wishing Gordon a happy birthday, and if you have one share your favorite Gordon memory! We hope he can enjoy some board games, Survivor, and time with his family. 🎉🎂🎲
St. Patrick, pray for us!
In case you missed it, Episode 2 of Adores Secret Sauce podcast dropped yesterday. We discuss the ingredients to the sauce: Our Core Values. And the why behind our Secret Sauce name.
Link in bio.
One of our core values is Spirit Driven. This doesn’t just stop at allowing the Holy Spirit to drive our work, it means also allowing the Holy Spirit to stop us and respond. To pour into each other. To show up. Whether it’s something simple, something heartbreaking, or even something exciting. We allow the spirit to fill our prayer and our spaces.
Being a missionary doesn’t mean just serving. It means being free to pray and to give as soon as we are told.
Episode 2 of The Secret Sauce podcast is out this Friday. Tune in to find out what our core values mean to us!

Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker, the patron of one of our beloved Adore mission parishes.
In a world that often measures worth by "status" and "noise," St. Joseph reminds us of the dignity found in quiet, honest labor. He simply needed a workbench and a heart open to God's will. He provided for the Holy Family through the sweat of his brow, proving that our yes to God's work is exactly where we encounter the Divine.
St. Joseph, we ask for your intercession today:
+ For our Parish: Protect the teens, families, workers, and the weary within our mission.
+ For our Hands: That everything we create would be for the glory of God.
+ For our Hearts: Teach us your "holy silence," so we can hear the Father’s voice above the distractions of the world.
St. Joseph the Worker, pray for us!
