Out to sea

We are a little late at posting our European Trip with Lucy. We kept so busy on the trip that we didn’t have much downtime to post (or rest). It didn’t take much time for life to catch back up with us at home. (A couple hours.) We will be telling our story in multiple posts as we have time to sit at the computer. Both of us will be taking time look back on our trip and add to the story. Not to mention having to filter through the 100’s of pictures and videos.

This adventure started off as a wild idea from Lucy. We couldn’t have gone on this trip without her. “Let’s go to Paris” she said. “While we are out there we should go to London.” “There is an awesome castle in Normandy.” We had about three months to learn as much as possible. We spent hours and hours to research and plan. There were things to learn like how to tip, what to pack, what size suitcases to bring. We had to explore what sights to see and at what time is best to visit. How are we going to plug in our electronics. (Especially Dianas Blow Dryer….) Between Lucy’s experience, Rick Steves travel guide and what was learned from the interwebs we were able to piece together a good itinerary. How did anyone get along in the past without You Tube? Some things were booked in advance and some were left to fate.

Let the Shenanigans begin.

We are sitting here full of giddiness excitement, like we are kids getting ready to go to Disneyland. (No we are not going to Disneyland).

We are headed to North Carolina to meet with sister Lucy Munoz for an Awesome Adventure!
And of course, we couldn’t make it through security without being fully inspected! 😂
