C.P.R. is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing placement services to displaced animals in the So. Oregon and California areas.
We do not have a physical address as our animals are in foster homes. We arrange meet and greets. :) was founded with the desire to provide placement services for the increasing number of dogs abandoned at county shelters and those needing rehoming in the So. We are open to taking in animals from other areas as room is available. operates with a "Safe Haven" policy in accepting animals for rehoming. Animals are placed in foster homes where they are cared for while awaiting their forever home. All animals of age are spayed/neutered prior to adoption unless they are too young at the time of adoption. depends on donations and the generosity of the public - donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 5114, Grants Pass OR 97527. We have obtained our 501c3 IRS status. Founders bring years of experience in rescuing and rehoming animals, volunteering at local shelters and networking on Petfinder and other social media animal sites.

I am sorry to tell you all that Critical Pet Rescue is closing it's doors. We stopped intake of animals June 30th due to no fosters available. I tried to get someone to take over the rescue but no one stepped up. I want to thank all of you that helped over the years and to those who donated to our cause. If there is any money left after our last kittens getting spayed we will donate it to Jo Co Spay and Neuter. We will miss you all.
UPDATE: PEDRO IS FOUND!!!
Our Pedro got loose, please watch for him in the Merlin area, thank you!
