Heart Boxes

My husband, Blake, and I have been together for just over 15 years and we have three beautiful kids together. We are thankful to spend all of our days with Rayne and Jace. Our daughter, Riley, lives in heaven. We lost her when she was just a baby. When Riley’s first birthday was near, we struggled to think of ways that we could honor her memory. On her first birthday, we started the wish paper tradition that we will continue for every birthday that she has while we wish for her to be here with us. Loss is a terrible part of this otherwise wonderful life. Losing anyone you love is a difficult pain. We did not realize how many people had lost babies until we lost our daughter and our good friends lost their daughter. Heart Boxes was born to try to help cope with that loss a little bit. Our goal is to help give grieving families a tradition to honor the memory of a lost loved one. Heart Boxes are for anyone that has ever lost anyone that means the world to them, the way our daughter Riley means the world to us. Heart Boxes are also for anyone that ever lost a pet that they adore. Pets are family for so many and their loss is painful. I have also created a special celebration Heart Box for all of the wonderful things life gives us to commemorate. A percentage of all boxes sold will go to help families with infant loss. After we lost our daughter we struggled with a huge hospital bill. We hope to help take a little pressure off of families that are dealing with that unimaginable loss.
