On Wednesday me and this boy are headed to Tulare, California for WCBRA Finals! I am going into this feelin so confident on Copen( which I struggled on for a few years) I trust him so much now I turn the barrels with my eyes closed😉 Wish us luck!💜

REGULATION
This is the story behind REG performance horses-
Many people have asked what the REG means some look at me funny when I tell them this handsome boys name is Regulation. Although it’s always a fun conversation piece I think I should post it on here for everyone to read. Since I was really young I would always spend the summers at my family’s ranch in Merced. Every time when my uncle Liddon was around my favorite thing was listening to him talk and tell all his stories (true or not🤣) the biggest thing that stuck with me was the word Regulation. He used it to describe something that was the best it could possibly be or when something went as perfect as possible. He’d be looking at something and say “Now that’s regulation” or “we went regulation on two c**ts today”. I loved it and thought it was the coolest saying ever and I told myself when I get to name my own c**t I’m gonna name him Regulation💜 When I saw Reggie only a week old I remember looking at him and saying that’s Regulation even when getting him wasn’t an option for me (the story on how I got him is for another time). I have set some big goals for Reggie and I and in the midst of my dreams is Regulation Ranch and when I get it I will owe it to him. That is where my brand came from the REG found on the left hip of all my horses because it’s one step closer to my biggest dream of owning a ranch. My goal with REG performance horses and in life is that when people see my horses and the horses I train they will think “wow now that’s REGULATION”💜

A little before and after for ya!
Well this girl is going home tomorrow after spending the past 60 days with me😢 After coming to me with little to no training she is leaving with a pretty nice toolbox😉 She now moves forwards backwards and left to right! She has a pretty solid neck rein on her, wtl collected, nice woah, ride inside and outside the arena, cross bridges and puddles, throw a rope off of her, forehand and haunch turns, and the beginning of counter arcing and lead changes. I can honestly say I’m gonna miss this one! She’s going to make a great all around horse!
