✨ A place where every child belongs. ✨
What started as a dream has become a lifeline for families across Southern Oregon.
The Sensory Space by MEC Disabilities was created because every child deserves a place where they can feel safe, understood, and celebrated. Without barriers, judgment, or cost. For many families, finding inclusive environments can be challenging. That’s why we opened the first completely free sensory space of its kind, providing a welcoming place where children of all abilities can explore, regulate, play, and simply be themselves.
Every smile, every moment of confidence, and every family that walks through our doors reminds us why this work matters.
As we continue serving families and work toward expanding into Jackson County, we remain committed to creating spaces where inclusion isn’t an afterthought; it’s the foundation.
💙 Because sensory spaces matter.
💙 Because accessibility matters.
💙 Because every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.
Thank you to our supporters, volunteers, donors, and community partners who help make this possible every day.

Inclusion is not a favor. It’s a right. 💛
Every child deserves a place where they feel welcomed, accepted, and free to be exactly who they are.
At MEC Disabilities, we believe inclusion isn’t something people should have to earn. It’s not a special privilege. It’s a fundamental right.
The Sensory Space was created because too many families were being told there wasn’t a place for their child. Today, we see friendships formed, confidence built, and families finding community in a space designed for everyone.
When we create environments that embrace differences, we don’t just change lives—we build stronger communities.
Together, let’s continue creating a world where every child belongs.
💛 Support inclusion.
💛 Advocate for accessibility.
💛 Celebrate differences.
💛 Help us keep these spaces available for families.

This Memorial Day, MEC Disabilities honors and remembers the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸
Today, we pause not only to reflect on their courage and service, but also to recognize the freedoms their sacrifice has protected for all families; including those in the disability community.
As we gather with loved ones this weekend, may we remember the true meaning of Memorial Day:
Honoring lives given in service, showing gratitude, and choosing compassion and unity in the communities we build.
From all of us at MEC Disabilities, thank you to the fallen heroes and the military families who carry their legacy forward every day. ❤️🤍💙

Inclusion starts with something simple:
Creating spaces where every child feels like they belong. 💛
Friendship. Conversation. Confidence. Community.
These moments may look small to others — but for many children with disabilities and their families, opportunities to connect socially in safe, understanding environments can change everything.
At MEC Disabilities, we believe inclusion isn’t just about access.
It’s about creating opportunities for growth, friendship, and real connection.
Every child deserves a seat at the table.
Every child deserves community.
Every child deserves to be seen beyond their diagnosis.
This is why we do what we do. ✨
