Happy Fathers Day from the BSR. I hope all the dads, moms, friends and family can enjoy all the smoked and grilled meats today.

On a cold, rainy Saturday, it’s always good to fire up the flattop for some peppers, onions, potatoes and sausage. Make you day count!

First batch of the season with cherry! Customer favorite of pepper jack and first time trying muenster. I will have some for sale in a few weeks for family and friends.

First time making chicken cheesesteaks on the flattop. Don’t sleep on toasted buns.

Full 10+ lb pork loin. Scored, seasoned, refrigerated 24 hours. Smoked at 225 for about 3 hours til IT hits 145. Lighter colored one rubbed with S&P, Cajun seasoning, chili & lime, cayenne and glazed with raw honey. Darker one rubbed with S&P, Myron Mixon Rubba Dub rub, Old Bay and glazed with blackberry habanero jelly. Whole loin under $18!!!

What a fire pot should look like vs what mine after 5 years looks like 😬. I’d say it had a good run! Replacement ordered so the grill/smoker should be back up and running in no time. This should explain the weird temps swings I’ve seen over the past few months. Gotta get it right before winter!
