Happy 4 Years at Granger Barnaby's to our amazing Barnaby's Family.

A little backstory:
The former owner of Barnaby's, Ron Milewski, had passed away and left Michael Lane with ownership of our mothership located at 3724 Grape Rd. Ready to begin this new journey, we were then met with the news that the property we were on was for sale! Unfortunately, with no true lease signed at the time, we were then in quite the panic. We couldn't believe that someone had it in their heart to sell our livelihood from underneath us. We couldn't believe that someone was willing to destroy 50 years of legacy and negatively impact 30 employee's future. We were good tenants. Paid on time, kept up on our repairs, etc. Our offers to purchase the land were rejected. Barnaby's Grape Rd is like Michael's child. It has been his home since 1978, and Barnaby's has been all he's known since 1969 as he formerly managed the Jefferson location.

Although the threat of being pushed out at any moment loomed, Michael and staff stayed diligent in finding a new location so at the very least 30 employees would have a place to work. Thankfully, we found Granger Barnaby's. Being behind a gas station wasn't the most appealing to us, but when we walked inside we were astonished. It was beautiful, as the former owner Vic from Gianetto's had kept it in great shape in the dining hall. We knew right away that we would do what it would take to get this location.

Granger Barnaby's has had its ups and its downs throughout the years as it was put together swiftly and required us to just work through the kinks. Looking back though, we wouldn't have it any other way! Because of our success and everything we have learned at Granger, we have been able to open our third location at Twin Branch.

We share this story today to give appreciation to the journey that we've went through these past 4 years. We now have a great neighborhood location at Twin Branch, our mothership at Grape Rd has a new land owner, and our Granger location is still growing! Thank you to our Barnaby's and Granger family for making all of this possible and we look forward to many more years here!

Our Granger location will be OPEN on Monday, July 11th. If you have yet to visit this location and are regulars at our Grape Rd store, Monday would be the perfect time to do so. We have a full bar and the same menu. 3:00-7:00PM
