UPDATE 8/11/22/1:12PM: We just learned due to some scheduling conflicts between contractors the stretch of West Outer Road from Harry Truman Drive to Main Street is STILL ONE-WAY TRAFFIC. The entire West Outer Road is expected to be finished and opened for 2-way traffic NEXT WEEK. We'll let you know when it happens. Again. But for real this time.

Good news! No more cones, closures, and detours on the West Outer Road. It's finished and today it opened to two-way traffic. Drive carefully and remember traffic is now going BOTH DIRECTIONS. We appreciate your patience as crews work to finish the East Outer Road and please follow the detours at Main Street. The parking lot is for IHOP and businesses only-- NOT a detour.

ROAD CLOSURES ALERT: In one week, two road closures will begin: 1) Main Street on ramp to southbound I-49 so crews can construct a new on ramp
2) East Outer Road from White Ave. to 140th Street will be closed to through traffic. Residents who live along the road will still have access.
Closures could be up through mid-July. Detours will posted. Thanks for your patience and cooperation!

Today, the Jackson County Legislature voted to end the mask mandate effective immediately. Masks are no longer required inside Grandview City facilities.
