NEW FOR 2026-2027: FOUR-DAY ACADEMIC PROGRAM
(Grades 2-6)
We're excited to announce a brand-new pilot program at Mighty Roots Academy!
Many homeschool families are looking for a balance between independent homeschooling and a full-time school experience. Our new Four-Day Academic Program is designed to provide exactly that.
Students will attend Monday-Thursday. Mornings will focus on core academics, building strong foundations in Language Arts, Math, and Unit Studies while still enjoying the electives and hands-on learning experiences that make Mighty Roots special.

Mighty Roots Academy is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Art Learning Guide to join our team!
Position Details:
Tuesday & Thursday – Full Day Homeschool Academy
Wednesday – Afternoon or Full Day Creative Options Program
We are looking for someone who loves working with children, enjoys fostering creativity, and can lead engaging art experiences for multi-age groups. If you're passionate about art, education, and inspiring young creators, we'd love to hear from you!

This week, we celebrated the graduation of four seniors here at Mighty Roots Academy!
Isaiah and Josh have been with us since the very beginning, part of our very first group of Mighty Roots students when we opened in 2019. They have grown alongside our community every step of the way.
Daniel joined us during the first year of Creative Options in 2020 and has been a steady part of our Wednesdays ever since.
Maylee joined our Wednesday Creative Options program in 2023 and quickly became an important part of our Mighty Roots community.
It’s bittersweet to watch them move on. They will be deeply missed, but we are so excited to see where life takes them next. They may be leaving our classrooms, but they will always be part of the Mighty Roots family. Our roots just continue to stretch farther, reaching out into the world through each of them!

We’re off to see the Wizard!
Join us tomorrow, Saturday May 9th, for a magical performance of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz presented by our talented 6–12 age theater class.
Our students have worked so hard to bring this beloved story to life, and we would love for you to come support their incredible performances!

Our Book Fair will also be open during Art Show hours! Tomorrow is the last day.

Some of our most meaningful moments at Mighty Roots happen in the trees!
This week, one of our high school students spent his lunch hour helping a younger student grow in their tree-climbing skills; offering guidance, encouragement, and confidence along the way.
This is the heart of Mighty Roots!

This is why mixed-age environments matter. This is where leadership begins.
Our roots grow deeper when we grow together!
