Participating in AGC's Specialty Contractor Committee, Max Electric furthered it's knowledge on supply chain management, the true cost of tariffs, market segment spending, and workforce development. AGC continues to deliver value that strengthens our industry! Max Electric, Inc. wants to send out a special Thank you to The Builders AGC for our regional dinner making new local connections as well!

Rita Baslock founded Max Electric twenty-four years ago. In addition to her leadership at Max Electric, Rita is heavily involved in the Kansas City Chapter, NECA and was the first woman to serve on the board. Prior to owning Max Electric, Rita worked in different roles from onsite to component manufacturing and engineering. Rita most enjoys the satisfaction of seeing completed projects by Max Electric such as the KCI Kansas City International Airport & City of Leawood, KS Government's Reaching Sculpture .

This week the Max Electric team is attending the MCSC Conference hosted by The Builders AGC, investing in continuing education and industry training to stay up-to-date on the latest codes, safety practices, and innovations in electrical work.

Late to post, not to install! Max Electric recently installed over seven hundred lights in under two days at Kansas City's J. Mohart Center built in 1908. This allowed for the historic space to be properly lit for holiday plays and concerts. A brief history of the space below:

⚡📦 Seamless power. Zero downtime. 📦⚡

Max Electric, in partnership with The Korte Company, recently completed a seamless transition of power for Amazon.com's DLI3 location. Our team provided temporary power for five days using an ATS and backup generator, while coordinating with Evergy to bring in a larger incoming service for the facility’s upgrade.

Thanks to the teamwork and planning on this project, Amazon stayed fully operational — ensuring everyone’s packages still arrived on time while the site received electrical upgrades!

Leawood's 75th Anniversary Reaching Sculpture received the NECA PEA award under the Design-Build under $1M.
