Great day! We found a swarm colony took up residence in the log hive and caught another swarm the same morning!

Excited for another season of beekeeping! We have strong nucs ready for sale!

Moved most of the trees into the hoop house before the freeze! These will provide wonderful habitat for pollinators. Consider planting one next spring!

Got the plastic on! Who invented wiggle wire?? Very impressive. Next step…frame the end walls and add trees :)

Winter is approaching in Michigan! We’re almost done building a 50’x24’ hoop house to overwinter our pollinator tree nursery stock. I was so excited to use the Pythagorean theorem for squaring the corner posts!

Honeybees are all over aster and golden rod as of September 23!
