Stop by Main Street Pub in Allendale on March 23 to support the GVSU Solar Racing Team.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards helping us purchase vital materials to make improvements to our stellar solar powered car.
The fundraiser will be running from 6-9 pm, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Our Story
Grand Valley State University Solar Racing Team is a student organization at Grand Valley State University with the goal of successfully competing in the American Solar Challenge. Each team must construct a vehicle that is solar powered and meets requirements set by the American Solar Challenge. In this challenge, teams from around the globe come together to take on the 1500-2000 mile cross country course. Grand Valley State University Solar Racing was founded in 2017 and has been working diligently on the design and construction of Grand Valley’s first solar powered race car while also establishing strong relationships with teams like our own from all over the world. Our goal is to establish a club that appreciates and embraces the alternative energy improvements in the automotive industry. We strive to not only be future engineers, but future leaders in the world of technological advances.
