Major milestone for Montcalm Community College 🎉
 
Yesterday, we joined MCC, project partners, community leaders, and supporters to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Carbonelli Villas, the college’s new student housing community. 
 
Designed to provide affordable, safe, and supportive on-campus housing for up to 84 students, Carbonelli Villas represents an important investment in the future of the college and the student experience. 
 
Construction Simplified was proud to serve as Construction Manager on a project that will help strengthen campus life, support enrollment growth, and create new opportunities for students for years to come. 
 
Congratulations to Montcalm Community College and everyone who helped bring this vision to life.

Some goals are personal at first until they inspire an entire team. 🏃‍♀️‍➡️

What started as one of our teammates, Marcie, setting a personal goal to run a 5K quickly became something bigger. Her commitment, consistency, and encouragement rallied teammates to join alongside her, creating momentum that reflected exactly who we strive to be as a team.

At Construction Simplified, we talk a lot about ambitious hustle, collaboration, and achieving goals together. This was a reminder that culture isn’t built in meetings or mission statements alone, it’s built when people encourage each other, show up together, and push toward something meaningful side by side.

We are proud of everyone who participated, supported, and stepped outside their comfort zone. A lot can happen when teams decide to show up for one another.

This transformation reimagined the existing workspace with updated offices, conference rooms, collaboration areas, modern finishes, and reconfigured layouts designed to better support The Right Place team and their day-to-day operations.

Last week, we hosted the Leading Through Capital Constraints event!

Leaders from across West Michigan’s higher education community joined us for thoughtful conversation, connection, and insight around a challenge many institutions are facing today: how to make investments in the student experience while navigating capital constraints.

Events like these are a reminder that some of the most valuable solutions come from simply bringing people into the same room. When leaders connect, share experiences, and learn from one another, new ideas and opportunities follow.
